after graduating one school (atl c/o 21!!), i knew i wanted to help more black creatives find one school & creative communities like it. since i have a following on social media & i’ve hosted numerous podcasts in the past, i thought it would perfect to use my platform to start the connections through conversations on ig live. not only to discuss one school memories, but to share advice and possibilities in this fun industry! i’m sharing perspectives from one school mentors, classmates, work partners, & ecds!
i pitched the idea to Oriel Pascal Davis-Lyons & jennifer skidgel, revised, & finally approved! i was lucky enough to utilize adolescent content to workshop designs for the announcement reels.
